The 13th IWCSPP will now take place in Kampala, Uganda, October 2026 (specific dates to be announced later). The conference will be organized around the Theme “Advancing Research, Technology and Innovations in Stored Product Protection for Sustainable Food Security”, which generally inform the global emerging science, technology, tools and innovations on Stored Product Protection agenda. Proposals for special sessions in the conference will be accepted. The conference subthemes are:
- Biology, ecology and behaviour of stored products pests and their relationship to pests’ management, and climate change
- Engineering for stored product protection and pest prevention
- Fumigation, controlled atmospheres, and hermetic storage
- Integrated pest management systems for stored product pests
- Microbiology and food safety
- Quarantine and regulatory aspects of stored product pests and protection
- Chemicals for stored product pests’ control (including resistance)
- Physical and biological control of stored product pests
- Gender, policy and governance issues affecting management of stored product pests
- Postharvest management extension
