Dr. Godfrey Taulya
Soil Scientist

Dr. Taulya holds a PhD in Natural Resource Management, from Wageningen University; a MSc in Soil Science, from Makerere University, and a BSc in Agriculture (Hons.) from Makerere University.
As a Soil Scientist, Dr. Taulya has passion for increasing soil productivity without compromising human and environmental health. He has over 15 years in agricultural research in the Great Lakes region of Africa and published over 20 publications in major scientific journals out of which 13 have been cited at least 13 times. He has mentored over 15 graduate students to completion in Uganda and beyond and s committed to building the capacity of the next generation of natural resource management specialists in Uganda and beyond.
Godfrey is currently coordinating the Uganda Carbon and Coffee Project, which s expected to run for three years starting 2023.
