Maureen Wandeka Namono holds a bachelor’s degree in Business statistics, currently works with Makerere University Business School as teaching assistant in the department of management science and a masters student of Energy Economics and governance under the Norwegian Programme “Capacity building for socially just and sustainable low-carbon energy transitions agenda”. Co- founder of Eshkol technologies a company that looks at SDG7 with a number of upcoming energy projects to ensure the provision of smart, affordable and relaible energy supply in Uganda. Her research interest is in gender participation in energy transition, mainly looking at how women are contributing towards smart energy.
