Goretti is an Associate Professor and Principal, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Makerere University. She holds a PhD-Social Sciences; with research in Gender and Natural Resources Management. She has supervised several undergraduate and graduate students and mentored staff and students, many of whom have risen through the academic ranks under her mentorship. She has expertly supported several projects as Gender Focal Person, charged with ensuring that gender dimensions are mainstreamed in all project and research activities
