Dr. Livingstone Ssenyonga / Coordinator (MUBS)

Livingstone Senyonga holds a Ph.D. in Energy Economics and currently works at the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in the department of Management Science. Livingstone does research in Energy Economics, Computational Economics, Applied Econometrics, Operations research, Energy Market Modeling, and Regulation. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Dar-es-salaam in Tanzania and a visiting research fellow at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Norway. Livingstone is a founder member and the current president of the Uganda Association for Energy Economics (UAEE) and a member of the Pan-African Energy Economics movement. Livingstone has supervised both undergraduate and graduate students in energy economics and operations research and many have risen through the ranks of academia, government service, and the private sector. He has participated in a number of donor-funded projects including the Inter Intra-household resource allocation supported by NORAD/NOMA, NORHED I and NORHED 2.
