CMAAE to Create Wealth to Farmers in Africa Through Agric Research

Farmers in Eastern, Central and Southern Africa are set to benefit directly from research by different universities after the Collaborative Masters of Science in Agriculture and Applied Economics (CMAAE) setting out a move through which agricultural research is directly disseminated down to the farmers from whom the research data is always collected.

This was revealed at the 3rd CMAAE Thesis Dissemination Workshop conducted by the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) in collaboration with Makerere University

The Director of Training AERC Dr Innocent Matshe noted that researchers always come to farmers and get data, make recommendations and end on shelves.
