Several research projects at CAES have won grants amounting to USD 610,873, EURO 432,361 and UGX 197,250,000= as of 2018. Some of the grants are given by the government and others by several partners. These grants have seen a significant breakthrough towards consolidating research and innovation in CAES. These grants are a progressive input towards poverty eradication and improvement of livelihoods in line with the country’s socio-economic development plans. They also help to increase research and innovation output, thus boosting out developers’ innovations.

Agricultural Investors as Development Actors (AIDA) | AIDA examines the development outcomes of foreign agricultural investments at sub-national level for people living in and using land in their vicinity, using Danish agricultural investments and their location in Tanzania and Uganda as the case and geographical starting point. In particular, AIDA focuses on the development outcomes with respect to employment, land tenure security and water security.
