Several research projects at CAES have won grants amounting to USD 610,873, EURO 432,361 and UGX 197,250,000= as of 2018. Some of the grants are given by the government and others by several partners. These grants have seen a significant breakthrough towards consolidating research and innovation in CAES. These grants are a progressive input towards poverty eradication and improvement of livelihoods in line with the country’s socio-economic development plans. They also help to increase research and innovation output, thus boosting out developers’ innovations.
